Orinoco Gold + WLI-PCI-OP + Fedora

Postby al_mckin » Tue Aug 24, 2004 11:14 am

I was hoping someone could give me some advice! I have an Orinoco Gold I used to use in a laptop which I now to use in my desktop running Fedora Core 1, 2.4.26 kernel. I got a PCI-PCMCIA bridge from a friend, which is a WLI-PCI-OP model from Buffalo, apparently is a truly generic PCI/PCMCIA adapter.

The problem is, I dont know to make this setup work, my system doesnt automatically detect the Orinoco card, only the PCI-PCMCIA adapter itself.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup that could help me?

Thanks!
