Ok, this is prolly a very stupid question and I'll prolly get burned crisper then day old KFC. But I have a problem with my wireless network. Currently I have my laptop and my desktop set up with an ad hoc network. They are communicating fine and I can access the internet on my laptop through my desktop. My problem is when I view "available wireless networks" my network between the two says "unsecured computer to computer network". I've went into the properties of the network connection on both comps, I've tryed "shared" with WEP, "WPA" and "WPA-PSK" with AES (I havn't tryed the TKIP, didn't figure it'd do much either). The settings and network access key are the same on both, but yet it still says "unsecured" when I view the network from the "available wireless networks" window. I would really like to get this secured and I'm in a high population zone. So what am I doing wrong?

ADDED: Oh, I'm using Win XP SP2 on both machines. I'm not sure what card the desktop is using (the device manager says IEEE802.11g Wireless PCI adapter), it's a newer one though and the laptop is using the Microsoft MN-720.
