The Complete Idiot's Guide to Searching the Forums

Step 1.) http://www.netstumbler.org/search.php. It's at the very top of the page between FAQ and New Posts.

Step 2.) Enter keyword(s). The keywords have to be at least 4 letters long. Think of what it is you're wanting to find, and pick some specific keywords. If you have a router, search for the word 'router' or even try searching for the router's manufacturer's name, such as 'linksys' or 'netgear'. If you're unsure of what to search for, start with a broad search, check the results, and narrow your search down from there. If you don't find any threads that meet your criteria, try broadening your search a bit.

Step 3.) Read through the results.

Step 4. After reading through all the results, you then request information in the correct forum based on what your need is, if it's hardware related, do NOT post it in anything other then that.

You must prove in your post that you have searched before coming for additional help. We DO NOT SPOONFEED HERE and expect people to do some work first. And before you think that you can get away with telling us that you have searched google and the forums when you haven't, think again since we know EVERYTHING that's posted on these forums.
